Across multiple collaborations including No Corners To Hide and Lovers Transformed, we created fully integrated global campaigns inspired by Bowmore’s rich island folklore and brought to life through the distinctive visual world of Frank Quitely

our response

The ambition was to create immersive, story-led campaigns capable of elevating Bowmore’s premium positioning within global travel retail — connecting physical retail, film, digital engagement and experiential storytelling into one cohesive brand world.

Each release centred around a cinematic narrative rooted in myth and storytelling — from the tale of the “Devil in the Cask” to the forbidden love story of a Pictish princess and Celtic warrior claimed by the sea during their escape to Islay. Our role was to translate these stories into immersive brand experiences across every touchpoint.

bringing the vision to life

Working from initial concept development through to global rollout, we created all aspects of the campaigns including key visuals, 3D product renders, retail activations, digital content, social media assets and comprehensive rollout toolkits for travel retail environments worldwide.

The campaign films combined atmospheric location shooting on Islay with practical effects including underwater filming, reflective materials and studio water-tank setups to create a rich, submerged cinematic aesthetic inspired by the sea surrounding Bowmore’s island home. Narration by Frank Quitely himself added another layer of authenticity and storytelling to the experience.

Elevating the brand

The result was a series of visually distinctive campaigns that blended whisky, art and mythology into contemporary luxury brand experiences — helping position Bowmore as one of the most culturally engaged and creatively ambitious names within premium spirits.
